Presented at the New Works Festival, See Me Smell Me is an anti-zionist exploration into Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, identity, and assimilation into whiteness through the metaphor of pungency. The piece centers around garlic as a site of resistance to white supremacy and nationalism, and a tool for reclaiming diasporic heritage, creativity, and liberation.
