Dead Exhibition

A participatory installation as part of Art Island in 2021, meditating on death, desire, and climate collapse. A "scream into the existential void box" stationed at the entrance, birds suspended from the ceiling fall gradually throughout the event, while a video of Venice flooding plays alongside a fictional narrative of lovers dying mid-sex. Viewers are invited to write the sex position they’d want to die in on post-it notes and place them directly onto the projection, blurring the line between spectacle, intimacy, and collective mourning. At the event I performed an "archeological" grave digging ritual where trash artifacts were unearthed and then transformed through collaborative play with the audience.
